Shouting your name as you walk by is not enough for check out. The survival of our program is riding on your responsibility to follow these instructions. Please help us keep the BAM open water swims alive!

BAM CHANGES FOR THE SUMMER OF 2019
For the summer of 2019 there are changes for the BAM pool venues and the BAM Reservoir swims.
Scott Carpenter Pool is closed this summer for renovations. Instead, check out the other great outdoor pool options BAM has secured for the summer starting May 25.
Boulder Reservoir Swims
We have been notified by the City of Boulder that our open water swim area must move. However, this change won't occur immediately - BAM swims will start in the “Cove” area where we have successfully run the swims for the last 10 years.
Starting July 11, 2019, BAM swims will move to the area where the Sunrise and Sunset Triathlons are held, as per Stacy Cole, Boulder Reservoir Manager.
Although BAM remains convinced that the "Cove" area is a superior venue because it allows a high level of safety, accountability, an area for beginners, a large enough swim course to spread out the number of swimmers, appropriate logistics for swimmers, volunteers and safety personnel, the mandate still remains in effect. BAM will make every effort to continue a high quality open water swim when we move to the new location.
If you would like to provide feedback regarding the Reservoir swims, please direct your comments to Alison Rhodes, Deputy Director of the Boulder Parks and Recreation Department at email@example.com
