BAM Open Water Swims @ Boulder Reservoir 

BAM offers a variety of open water swims at the Boulder Reservoir throughout the summer. 
These open water swims are hosted by Boulder Aquatic Masters and are open to the public. 
These swims are great for open water enthusiasts, triathletes, and anyone preparing for the  2015 Ironman Triathlon Series. 


Our open water swims are a great way to start your day.
Safe 500 and 1000 meters course marked with buoys. Lifeguards are positioned along the course to offer rest and encouragement.  
You may swim anytime during the open period.  
Swim at  your own pace, as much or as little as you want.  
Coaches are on site to offer assistance to newer swimmers and offer open water tips.


Every Tuesday and Thursday starting May  26th through August 27th.
From 6:10 am to 7:40 am (you can swim anytime during that timeframe)
We will have a Group Start on Tuesdays at 6:30 am (for those who would like simulate a race format)

We will have two additional swims on Saturday, June 6 th and Saturday, July 25
From 7: 00 am to 8:30 am
Group Start at 7:15 am


Single Session Drop in:  $15
Punch Pass:  $60 for 5 swims (can NOT be shared)
Summer Pass:  $270 early bird rate/$300 thereafter - Please show your card at the entrance gate
BAM members:  FREE - Please show your card at the entrance gate

Payment:  Cash or Check only - Please pay at the registration table located at the windsurfing beach.

Do NOT enter the water unless you have checked in at the BAM Registration Table.
You must be 18 years of age to participate in BAM events.

If at all possible use alternative modes of transportation other than single driver cars on trips to the Rez.

BAM swims may be canceled due to adverse weather conditions. There will be a decision as to whether a swim will be canceled at 5:35 am and notification will go out via Facebook, Twitter and a BAM email.
