Swimming regularly builds strength, endurance and cardio-vascular fitness.
Swimming also is effective at injury rehabilitation and recovery. These benefits
compliment dry-land exercises with fewer stresses on joints and tendons. For
these reasons swimming is an excellent entire body workout that can be enjoyed
for a lifetime.
Boulder Aquatic Masters (BAM) in conjunction with United States Masters Swimming
(USMS) provides a supportive group environment for adult swimmers. BAM members
range from 24 to 83 years old and enjoy the following benefits:
