A no frills swim event hosted by BAM as a fun(d)raiser

This event has been designated a fundraiser for two former BAM families that have had young children stricken with cancer.  More information on their condition is below.

When: July 19, 2009 

Sign in & late entry 6:30 AM - 8AM

Race Start 8:30 AM

Where: Boulder Reservoir

How much: $15 early registration until 7/12 ($20 race morning)

How do I do it?:  Send in the entry form and show up race morning


What do I get? The unique opportunity to swim either a mile or two at Boulder Reservoir and the first 100 registrants will get a cool T-shirt.

Cullen McReynolds, 3 years old, was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma on June 17th.  This is an aggressive cancer that attacks the lymph nodes and bones.  Cullen is still undergoing treatment.

Klaus Dragon Heiman, 6 years old, was diagnosed with cellular neurothekeoma in January 2007.  After the initial removal, a new lump was detected again in January 2009.  Klaus is returning to a normal life as a child but there are still concerns about the future.
